    One note: On Twitter, I stick to lists so I don’t see all the political stuff but on Facebook, I do unless I unfollow people. So, I still prefer Twitter over FB during election time. And Twitter does NOT allow political ads.
    Another site not mentioned was Pinterest? That’ a surprise too!

    Facebook is a real giant. The competition is fierce there. I only prefer to use Facebook and Pinterest.

    Pinterest is a new world of images only. What a way of visuals only! I’ve a good experience with Pinterest whch is why I love it.

    I recently got 69K monthly views on my Pinterest account within 80 days. And it was with maximum 5 hours spent per week without any paid promotion or any automation tool. Now I am planning to deploy approved automation tools.

    I want to know whether it is better to keep an omnichannel approach or laser-focused on a single social media.

    For example, if we want to target startup entrepreneurs, won’t it be better to keep yourself focused on twitter only?

      If you already have multiple channels that are working for you, then keep doing what you’re doing. If you’re a one man operation, then laser-focused is the way to go. Quality trumps quantity.

      It also depends on what kind of resources you can dedicate to social. If you have a marketing team, then more channels are great (as long as your target audience is there, of course).

  8. The new Facebook user interface is dire, making it impossible to read anything anymore, and the advertising has become so aggressive that it has taken over almost everything. What is particularly troubling is to see clearly targeted commercials when I have turned the option off in their advertising settings, which would suggest that they are using my data in ways that I have not authorized.
